With 8 new CPCU designees in Vermont since our last conferment in 2016, we are excited to announce that a member of the National CPCU Society Leadership Council, Stanley W. Plappert, CPCU, ChFC, CLU, ARM, JD, will be joining us from Florida to be our conferring officer for the new CPCU designees at our November Breakfast Meeting! He will also speak about what’s new with the CPCU Society and conduct a Q&A on the hurricane in Florida. Stan is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business Administration. He received a Masters' degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Illinois State University, with a specialization in International Business. Stan received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, specializing in International Law in Gulfport, Florida. He has studied extensively overseas, including studies in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Argentina and the Cayman Islands.
